- A strong customer base, often focused on either a specific geography or vertical market;
- The technical ability to provide IT services and technical support;
- A track record of integrating third-party solutions into their portfolios;
- The desire to offer best-of-breed storage as a service solutions; and
- The willingness to invest in a partnership that expands their customer offerings.
Our Hosting partnership model involves:
- Incorporating our data protection solutions into the Hosting partner's service offerings while leveraging the Iron Mountain branding;
- Hosting partner manages the sales cycle with dedicated sales support from Iron Mountain;
- Hosting partner bills the customer and receives recurring revenue; and
- Hosting partner provides implementation and ongoing technical support.
IronMountainprovides the following resources to make Hosting partners successful:
- Dedicated channel management resources;
- Recurring revenues based on sticky services;
- A comprehensive Partner portal for sales tools, competitive information, etc.;
- Marketing resources for building pipelines; and
- Technical and sales training delivered online and in the classroom.
Hosting partners commit to the following:
- Initial financial commitments for product, professional services and licenses, based upon pre-determined business plans and the market opportunity; and
- Maintaining trained pre-sales and technical support staff, and providing first level technical support, taking advantage of our online and classroom training programs.
